InCoFReDA-22 | The International Conference on Food Research , Development and Application 2022

InCoFReDA-22 is a novel initiative under the theme \”Strengthening Innovations Through Sustainable Food Systems\” organized by the Department of Food Science & Technology, University of Sri Jayawardenepura, in collaboration with the Association of Food Science & Technology.

This international platform is open for submissions of research findings in the field of food science & technology.

Extended abstracts are accepted under six thematic areas. They are:
Food Quality, Safety and Hygiene

Food Nutrition, Health and Immunity Development

Engineering and Environmental Management in Food Systems

Entrepreneurship & Innovative Business Systems

Foods of Plant, Animal & Microbial origin

Emerging Concepts & Technologies in Foods

The call for submissions are open from 7th of September 2021 till 2nd of November 2021. The abstracts of said submissions will be published on the conference proceedings. Furthermore, selected papers can be presented at the virtual research conference, which will be held on 8th of January 2022. The event will be graced by the keynote speaker Senior Prof. Ajith de Alwis, Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, under the patronage of Senior Professor K.K. D.S. Ranaweera and Professor S. B. Nawarathne of Department of Food Science & Technology, Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura

In addition, the best research abstract from each thematic area will be awarded a gold medal. All selected abstracts will be published online via the conference proceedings booklet.
