Hockey at USJ

\”You only see obstacles when you take your eyes off the goal.\”

Hockey is a sport which two teams play against each other by trying to manoeuvre a ball or a puck into the opponent\’s goal using a hockey stick .There are eleven players in a team which includes a goalkeeper, defenders, midfielders and attackers. The only player on the field who is allowed to use their feet and hands as well as their stick is the goalkeeper.

Hockey is a very fast and exciting sport. Its players skate at very high speeds, running into each other with great force. A bunch of players run towards the goal with sticks in their hands. A ball is passed so fast to a vacant player that even we require the eyes of an eagle to keep our eye on the ball. A speedy swing of stick and it hits the ball with a dashing sound and when the goal keeper of the opposing team hasn\’t a chance to even see the ball, it has reached the goal to score a point.
