The sinopharm vaccine has developed immunity in 95% of the tested individuals.
The findings of the research team including Prof. Neelika Malavige, Dr. Chandima Jeewandara, Prof. Graham Ogg and Prof. Alain Townsend proves that the Sinopharm has induced antibodies in 95% of the vaccinated individuals. Also, they further prove that the said vaccine is very effective against the delta variant of COVID-19 virus. It is found that the vaccinated individuals show a 1.38-fold reduction of antibodies upon affected by delta variant. The research further states that the vaccine also enhances the formation of T cell and memory B cell responses.
